1st Advantage Federal Credit Union is now a community chartered credit union.
Important Information about your Credit Report
A consumer credit report may be obtained from the Peninsula Credit Bureau before opening an account with 1st Advantage FCU. Membership will be granted on an acceptable credit report.

What makes you eligible for membership?
If you live, work, worship or attend school on the Virginia Peninsula, you are eligible for membership. In addition, all family of those who qualify also are eligible for membership.
To become a member of 1st Advantage FCU, you simply need to open a share account
with us. The initial deposit to open this basic savings account is $5. Once your account
is open, 1st Advantage membership, with all of
its benefits, becomes a lifelong privilege. Even if you should leave the Virginia
Peninsula, the state, or the country, you still retain your 1st Advantage membership.

You are eligible if:
- You live, work, worship or go to school on the Virginia Peninsula.
- You have a family member who is already a member.
- You have a family member who is eligible for membership.
- Gloucester County which includes: Gloucester Point, Hayes, Schley, Whitemarsh, Belroi
- York County which includes: Seaford, Dandy, Grafton
- City of Williamsburg
- James City County
- City of Newport News
- City of Hampton
- City of Poquoson
