1st Advantage is proud to announce that we have been awarded BauerFinancial Inc.’s (BFI) 5-Star Rating.  For a credit union to be awarded the 5-Star (Superior) rating, it must have received an excellent or superior rating for 11 consecutive quarters. 

While most financial institutions were closed for the Columbus Day holiday, 1st Advantage colleagues were hard at work assisting local non-profit organizations. This year marked our 5th annual 1st A.I.D.E Day, and we were thrilled to be able to work with four deserving organizations who offer incredible support in our local community: Lackey Free Clinic, Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters, Menchville House and Operation Homefront of Hampton Roads.

60 has never looked better!  On September 20, 2011, we marked our 60th Anniversary and we couldn’t be more proud.  Our membership is growing, our performance is solid and we are still able to provide members with the best products and services around.

In honor of our 60th Anniversary, 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union presented six non-profit organizations with checks worth a sum total of $60,000.  A heartwarming ceremony was held on October 27th, 2011 at the Kiln Creek branch.
