1st Advantage knows that everyone needs a little help now and then, and we pride ourselves in extending a hand whenever it’s needed in our community. That’s why we created “1st A.I.D.E Day.” Each year, 1A colleagues set a day aside to assist a local non-profit organization.
This year, 145 1A colleagues worked a total of 3.5 hours at the YMCA, Blue Bird Gap Farm, The Volunteer Center and YH Thomas Complex. For several hours, we cleaned, hauled, raked, painted, hammered, organized and shoveled until the work was complete. It was definitely hard work, but the reward of seeing these locations look better than ever was worth it. The best part is that it didn’t cost any of these organizations a dime. 1A volunteered our time for free. It’s how we bring our philosophy, “Life. Shared.” into the lives of those around us.
