Who are the Auto Advantage Advisors?

Allen Gatling is one of the Auto Advantage Advisors for 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union. His main focus is to help members locate and negotiate the very best price on a new or used vehicle. Allen has worked for 1st Advantage for almost eight years. Prior to working for the credit union, Allen worked in the automobile industry for over seven years. With that knowledge, Allen now passes it on to our members. Educating them on how to purchase their next automobile is the most important thing. Now Allen conducts seminars on how to purchase automobiles for the credit union. Allen is the father to an eleven year old boy, Allen Jr. The latest edition to the Gatling family is a puppy, Meeko. Allen is an avid Washington Redskins fan.

Rosie Velasquez is originally from Austin, Texas where she married her husband David 31 years ago. Rosie came to Virginia with David who served in the US Navy for 24 years as a Submarine Chief. They retired in Newport News, Virginia to extend support to their son David, who graduated from Old Dominion University. Rosie attended Southeast Banking School in Orlando, Florida where she received certification in Banking. Rosie has been with 1st Advantage FCU for over 16 years and has a total of 22 years banking experience. Rosie loves working for credit unions because they share family values of membership. The highlight of Rosie’s day is when she is able to help a member achieve their goal. As the wife of a retired military man, Rosie easily relates to our military and dependent members. Rosie’s hobbies are, first and foremost caring for her family and running. Rosie ran two half marathons and continues to train for her next big event. Because running is her passion, going the extra mile for her members is simply what she does.
