Member Shred Event & Diaper Drive

Shred Event

We are providing an opportunity for you to bring your personal documents to safely and securely be shredded. We will have a shred truck on-site to help dispose of all unwanted papers. The shred event will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Kiln Creek Branch in Yorktown.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot take plastic bags. Please bring all papers and documents in paper bags or boxes. Boxes, themselves, cannot be shredded in these trucks. They will be emptied and returned, so you will need to wait for them.

We stress that this event is NOT for businesses or disposal of trash. Business documents will not be accepted. Your cooperation will help minimize the wait for you and others.

Diaper & Baby Wipe Drive

At this year’s event, the 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union Foundation is collecting diapers and baby wipes that will be given to local military base baby pantries. Please bring diapers of all sizes that are in their original and unopened packaging. Our most requested diaper sizes are one through five.
