1st Advantage Empowers Workforce Through Launch of a Corporate University

In a strategic move towards fostering professional growth and personal development, 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union announces the launch of its corporate university initiative, the 1st Advantage University. A grand opening event took place on July 11, 2024.
While many organizations are forced to make tough decisions such as layoffs and cutbacks in the current environment, 1st Advantage takes a bold step forward by prioritizing growth and development through continued learning opportunities. By addressing both professional and personal growth areas, the University aims to support not only the 1st Advantage workforce in achieving holistic success, but also offer opportunities for members and the community.
Courses will cover a broad spectrum of topics anchored by four pillars to include credit union training, financial wellness, leadership, and communication. Employees will have the flexibility to participate in courses that align with their interests and career aspirations. Financial wellness courses will also be offered to 1st Advantage members and the community.

In addition to traditional classroom-style learning, 1st Advantage University classes will leverage various mediums, including online modules, workshops, seminars, and guest speakers, to accommodate diverse learning preferences and schedules.
