Account Services

You can update your contact information within Online Banking, in branch (link to branches), or by calling our eBranch Call Center at 800-359-7650 or 757-877-2444. To update via Online Banking, follow the below steps: 1. Click Settings in the upper right-hand corner of the screen 2. Select what you would like to update i.e., Address and/or Email and Phone Number 3. Update your information and then click Save
To add a joint member: In order to add a joint member to any of your accounts, you and the person you would like to add can stop by a branch location. Please make sure all parties bring an unexpired government issued ID Card. You can also request this change by calling us at 757-877-2444 and we will send you forms to add a joint owner. If you decide to add a joint owner over the phone, keep in mind that the forms will need to be notarized. To remove a joint member: In order to remove a joint member to any of your accounts, the joint member will need to complete a removal of joint form. You can also request this change by calling us at 757-877-2444 and we will send the forms to remove the joint owner. The form will need to be notarized. A new signature card will also need to be signed by the member who remains on the account.

Members may send a wire transfer at any one of our branch location. or by calling the eBranch Call Center at 800-359-7650 or 757-877-2444. If sending a wire transfer over the phone, please call us at least 3 business days before the transfer date to begin the process as the forms must be notarized. In order to receive a wire, you need to ensure the other person/company has been given the correct routing and account number to ensure you receive the funds.

Hours of Operation

Our branch operating hours vary by branch. You can view a list of all branch locations and hours. All 1st Advantage locations and the eBranch Call Center are closed on all Federal Holidays, view a full list of holiday closures. • Our eBranch Call Center is open Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. • All branches are closed on Sunday.

Notary Services

1st Advantage is not authorized to notarize the following documents: • Certify true copies of birth, death, and marriage certificates. Only the Division of Vital Records/Statistics may perform such certifications. • Certify true copies of court issue documents • Perform marriage ceremonies • Notarize his/her own signature • Documents where the name on the document does not match the name on the ID presented • Blank or incomplete documents • Faxed or copied signatures • Wills and documents that the notary has a financial interest in. For example: • The notary is a party of the document • The notary's spouse is a party to the document • The notary is a signatory or is named in the document • The notary or his or her spouse has a "direct beneficiary interest" in the document
Each one of our branch locations has a notary that can provide basic notarization. We offer this service only to our members and it is free.

Tax Information

Tax documents are mailed by January 31 of each year. Below is a list of tax documents: • 1099-INT: Issued when more than $10 in dividends earned during the year. 1099-INT forms are not issued for IRA investments • 1099-R: Issued if you have made a distribution from a retirement account (Traditional/Roth IRA) • 1098: Issued when you have paid $600 or more of mortgage interest during the year • 5498: shows the FMV (12-31 IRA ending balance) for (Traditional/Roth IRA); Required Minimum Distribution amount for the tax year.

Travel Notifications

You can add a travel notification to your account within Online Banking, Mobile Banking, or by calling our eBranch Call Center at 757-877-2444 or 1-800-359-7650. How To Set a Travel Notification Through Online Banking • Log in to Online Banking • Click Manage Cards located on the top menu bar • Click Manage Travel Plans  on the left side menu • Select the plus button to Add Travel Plan and follow prompts to securely enter your travel plans and select the account(s) you would like the notice placed on. How To Set a Travel Notification Through Mobile Banking • Log in to the Mobile Banking app • Click on the Cards icon in the bottom menu • Select the card you would like to place an alert on. Please note you will need to place a travel alert for each card you plan on using while traveling. • Scroll down to the Mange Card section • Select Manage Travel Plans and follow prompts to securely enter your travel plans
